I was so happy to visit Tendenser 2026 at Galleri F 15 today ✨♥️

I would have loved to be there for the opening, but I was in China at the time. That made it even more special to finally visit the exhibition today, meet the audience, and have many warm and wonderful conversations about my work and artistic practice💫

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special and filled it with joy and warmth ❤️🙏✨

سعدت كثيراً بزيارتي اليوم لمعرض اتجاهات ٢٠٢٦ في غاليري إف ١٥ ♥️

كنت أتمنى أن أكون حاضراً في يوم الافتتاح، لكن وجودي في الصين في ذلك الوقت حال دون ذلك، لذلك كانت زيارتي اليوم مليئة بالسعادة والفرح، خاصة مع اللقاءات الجميلة والحديث الدافئ مع جمهور المعرض النرويجي حول أعمالي وتجربتي الفنية

كنت أتمنى أن أكون حاضراً في يوم الافتتاح، لكن وجودي في الصين في ذلك الوقت حال دون ذلك، لذلك كانت زيارتي اليوم مليئة بالسعادة والفرح، خاصة مع اللقاءات الجميلة والحديث الدافئ مع جمهور المعرض النرويجي حول أعمالي وتجربتي الفنية

Love is not a fleeting emotion—it is an invisible force that connects what seems far apart.

In this sculpture, the flowing red line is inspired by a piece of fabric floating through the sky ☁️, moving freely between the ceramic forms. It symbolizes love as a boundless energy that travels, connects, and unites souls, just as the wind carries fabric through the clouds ♥️

The silver circle ✨ represents a point of light and balance—a symbol of the heart, hope, and the enduring human spirit that continues to shine through every transformation🩶

I believe that art, like love, finds its true meaning when it creates connections: between people and places, memory and identity, matter and spirit 🤍

Love leaves traces… and those traces become art ✨

الحب ليس شعورًا عابرًا، بل قوة خفية تربط ما يبدو متباعدًا 🤍

في هذا العمل، يستلهم الخط الأحمر المتدفق حركته من قطعة قماش تحلق في السماء ☁️، تنساب بحرية بين الكتل الخزفية، لتجسد الحب بوصفه طاقة لا تعرف الحدود، تسافر وتربط الأرواح كما يحمل الهواء قطعة القماش بين الغيوم ❤️

أما الدائرة الفضية ✨ فهي نقطة الضوء والاتزان، ترمز إلى القلب، والأمل، والجوهر الإنساني الذي يظل مضيئًا رغم كل التحولات

أؤمن أن الفن، كما الحب، يجد معناه الحقيقي عندما يصنع جسورًا بين الإنسان والمكان، وبين الذاكرة والهوية، وبين المادة والروح 🤍

الحب يترك أثرًا، وهذا الأثر يتحول إلى فن ✨

I’m happy to be part of the exhibition “Response – Norwegian Contemporary Ceramics 1975–2026” 🤍✨

‏The exhibition celebrates fifty years of artistic exploration and innovation in Norwegian ceramics, bringing together the works of 65 artists representing different generations of this creative field 🌿

‏I am participating with my installation “Galaxy of Love” 🌌, a work composed of forty ceramic spheres of different sizes, inspired by forty Arabic synonyms for the word love. The installation creates a visual dialogue between the heritage of Mesopotamia and the Norwegian landscape, connecting memory, identity, and belonging 🤍

‏I feel deeply proud and grateful to have my work included in this significant exhibition, which marks an important milestone in my artistic journey and gives me the opportunity to contribute to the contemporary narrative of Norwegian ceramics alongside artists who have shaped this field over the past five decades ✨

‏My sincere thanks to the Norwegian Center for Ceramic Art in Ringebu and to everyone who made this experience possible 🙏🤍

‏I hope art continues to build bridges between cultures, and that ceramics remains a universal language that brings us together through beauty and humanity 🌍🕊️

Love is never a straight path.

That is why The Road to Love unfolds through twists and turns, reflecting the beauty and complexity of our journey through love 💫

Inspired by the richness of the Arabic language, each sculpture represents a different Arabic word for love, expressed through colour, texture, material, and form🌟

It is an opportunity to be present at one of the most significant and prestigious platforms for contemporary ceramics in Scandinavia, alongside outstanding artists who continue to shape the field and define its evolving directions ✨

I am proud to represent Norway in this distinguished artistic context while bringing a part of my Mesopotamian heritage into a space that celebrates creativity, innovation, and cultural dialogue through clay—a place where artistic visions and experiences come together to create a shared human language.

My deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey, and to all those who have believed in and supported this path.

Tomorrow, this work will open its doors to the public, and before the opening, I would like to share this video documenting part of the journey behind the creation of my wall installation, “Love… The World’s Final Destination” ✨🌍♥️

In this video, I briefly talk about the concept of the work, its journey from clay to the wall of Taoxichuan Art Museum, and the dialogue it creates between multiple civilizations and cultures within a single ceramic artwork

The video also includes scenes from the installation process at the museum 🇨🇳

I hope you enjoy watching this journey and that this work inspires reflection, dialogue, and the belief that love remains the most beautiful destination of every beginning 💫

يسعدني جدًا اختياري “فنان الأسبوع” من قبل جمعية الحرفيين والفنانين في النرويج 🇳🇴

على مدى أكثر من أربعة عقود، كانت الطينة هي لغتي؛ أستكشف من خلالها الحب، والهوية، والذاكرة، والروابط الإنسانية التي توحدنا عبر مختلف الثقافات

كل الشكر والامتنان لكل من ساند رحلتي. هذا التقدير يمنحني دافعًا كبيرًا للاستمرار في الإبداع وبناء الجسور بين الناس من خلال الفن ✨

In my artistic practice, I always try to work within a clear vision and a thoughtful plan—how a piece begins, how it develops, and when it naturally reaches its conclusion ✨

Ceramics offers an extraordinary range of possibilities: glossy and matte surfaces, transparent and opaque glazes, low-fired and high-fired ceramics, porcelain, and different firing methods using electricity, gas, or wood.

For me, this diversity is more than a collection of technical choices; it is a rich language that allows the artist to select the most appropriate means to support an idea and strengthen the concept behind the work.

Every decision, no matter how small, can become part of the meaning we seek to express.

‎في عملي الفني أحاول دائماً أن أعمل ضمن رؤية واضحة وخطة مدروسه؛ كيف أبدأ، وكيف يتطور العمل، ومتى أشعر أنه وصل إلى نهايته الطبيعية

‎يمنحنا الخزف تنوعاً هائلاً من الإمكانيات؛ بين اللامع والمطفأ، الشفاف والمعتم، وبين الخزف واطئ الحرارة وعالي الحرارة، والبورسلين، إضافة إلى طرق الحرق المختلفة بالكهرباء أو الغاز أو الخشب

‎هذا التنوع ليس مجرد خيارات تقنية بالنسبة لي، بل لغة واسعة تساعد الفنان على اختيار الوسيلة الأنسب لخدمة فكرته وتعزيز الرسالة أو المفهوم الذي يسعى إلى التعبير عنه

‎كل قرار في العمل، مهما بدا صغيراً، يمكن أن يكون جزءاً من المعنى الذي نحاول الوصول إليه

In my artistic practice, I always try to work within a clear vision and a thoughtful plan—how a piece begins, how it develops, and when it naturally reaches its conclusion ✨

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Torbjørn Kvasbø, President Emeritus, International Academy of Ceramics (IAC), and Ingunn Svanes Almedal, Managing Director of the Norwegian Center for Ceramic Art, together with artists from different parts of the world during a visit to the Sanbao Ceramic Art Institute and Professor Jackson Li’s home in Jingdezhen 🇨🇳

It was a wonderful and inspiring day filled with conversations, shared experiences, and a common passion for ceramics. Clay, fire, and color brought us together beyond languages and cultures ✨

I am grateful for these special moments and the friendships that art creates across borders ♥️

تشرفت اليوم بلقاء الفنان الخزاف النرويجي توربيورن كفاسبو، الرئيس الفخري للأكاديمية الدولية للخزف (IAC)، والأستاذة إنغون سفانيس ألميدال، مديرة المركز النرويجي لفن الخزف، إلى جانب فنانين من مختلف أنحاء العالم، وذلك خلال زيارة إلى معهد سانباو لفنون الخزف وبيت البروفيسور جاكسون لي في جينغدتشن 🇨🇳

Clay taught me honesty—honesty with myself and with others. That is why I always strive to create work that carries meaning beyond form and aesthetics ✨♥️

Honesty has been, and will always remain, the compass guiding my artistic journey.

منذ أن اخترت الخزف طريقاً لي، لم أنظر إليه كحرفة أو جمال بصري فقط
كان بالنسبة لي لغةً أعبّر بها عن أفكاري وأسئلتي وقيمي الإنسانية
