Delighted to share images from my participation in “Tendenser 2026” at Galleri F 15 in Moss, Norway, with my ceramic installation “The Road to Love.” 🇳🇴♥️

The exhibition brings together significant ceramic practices from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

In “The Road to Love,” Arabic words for love become sculptural forms—a journey through memory, belonging, and hope. Each piece marks a step along a path guided by my belief that love is the language that unites us and our final destination✨

يسعدني أن أشارككم صورًا من مشاركتي في معرض «اتجاهات ٢٠٢٦» في غاليري «إف ١٥» بمدينة موس، من خلال عملي الخزفي «طريق الحب».

يجمع المعرض تجارب خزفية مهمة من النرويج والسويد والدنمارك.

في «طريق الحب»، تتحول مفردات الحب العربية إلى أشكال نحتية ترسم رحلة عبر الذاكرة والانتماء والأمل. وتمثل كل قطعة خطوة في طريق يؤكد إيماني بأن الحب هو اللغة التي تجمعنا ووجهتنا الأخيرة.

Happy and proud to have participated in the 62nd International Ceramics and Sculpture Symposium in Bolesławiec, Poland, in 2026, representing Norway while proudly honoring my Mesopotamian roots 🇵🇱

During the symposium, I created my conceptual artwork, “Virus of Love,” consisting of two spheres placed 6 meters apart, with 100 virus-shaped ceramic pieces moving between them—an attempt to spread the contagion of love and peace among people, instead of war, racism, and hatred ✨

Following the symposium’s tradition, each edition showcases the works created by the artists during the previous year. Therefore, “Virus of Love” will be exhibited alongside the works of my fellow artists at the next edition in 2027. I look forward with great excitement to seeing this experience completed and exhibited 💫

I am grateful for this artistic and human experience, proud to represent Norway, and honored to carry a piece of the spirit of Mesopotamia to this international gathering

‎سعيد وفخور بمشاركتي في الدورة الـ62 للملتقى الدولي للخزف والنحت في بوليسوافيتس – بولندا 2026، ممثلاً النرويج ومعتزاً بجذوري الرافدينية

‎أنجزت خلال السمبوزيوم عملي المفاهيمي «فيروس الحب»، ويتكوّن من كرتين تفصل بينهما مسافة 6 أمتار، تنتقل بينهما 100 وحدة خزفية على هيئة فيروس؛ في محاولة لنشر عدوى الحب والسلام بين الشعوب، بدلاً من الحروب والعنصرية والكراهية

‎وفق تقليد السمبوزيوم، تُعرض في كل دورة أعمال الفنانين المنجزة في العام السابق؛ لذلك سيُعرض «فيروس الحب» مع أعمال زملائي الفنانين في الدورة القادمة عام 2027، أتطلع بشغف لرؤية هذه التجربة مكتملة ومعروضة بإذن الله

‎ممتن لهذه التجربة الفنية والإنسانية، وفخور بتمثيل النرويج وحمل شيء من روح أرض الرافدين إلى هذا المحفل الدولي

She’s the Sun ☀️💛

A work about light, warmth, and feminine presence. Geometric and organic forms meet across a richly layered surface, where clay, glaze, relief, and traces of the making process respond differently to light. Yellows, oranges, and earthy tones give the work a sense of radiance—as if the light comes from within.

In Arabic poetry, the sun has long been an image of feminine beauty and radiance. The Andalusian poet Ibn Zaydun wrote:

«هِيَ الشَّمْسُ» — “She is the sun.” ✨

An image of a woman who is not merely surrounded by light, but seems to be its source 💫

💛☀️ هي الشمس

عملٌ عن الضوء والدفء والحضور الأنثوي. تتلاقى فيه الأشكال الهندسية والعضوية فوق سطح غني بالطبقات والتفاصيل، حيث يتفاعل الطين والتزجيج والبروز وآثار التشكيل مع الضوء بطرق مختلفة. وتمنح درجات الأصفر والبرتقالي والألوان الترابية العمل وهجاً خاصاً، كأن النور ينبع من داخله

في الشعر العربي، لطالما كانت الشمس رمزاً لجمال المرأة وإشراقها. وقد كتب الشاعر الأندلسي ابن زيدون:

«هِيَ الشَّمْسُ» ✨

صورةٌ للمرأة التي لا يحيط بها الضوء فحسب، بل تبدو وكأنها مصدر الضوء نفسه 💫

From the heart of Bolesławiec, Poland 🇵🇱 — a city with a rich and celebrated tradition of ceramics — I’m sharing a glimpse of our experience at the 62nd International Ceramics and Sculpture Symposium 2026. 🏺✨

For more than six decades, this symposium has brought together artists from different cultures, backgrounds, and artistic practices. 🌍🤝 Here, we develop our projects within three of Bolesławiec’s historic ceramic factories — a unique experience where art meets industry, clay meets fire, and tradition meets contemporary vision. 🔥👐

These images capture some moments from the artists’ creative process — the works, conversations, experiments, and human connections that continue to take shape day by day. 📸🎨

My work, Galaxy of Love, is inspired by the Northern Lights and explores love, connection, and belonging across cultures. It also reflects my artistic journey between Mesopotamia and Norway 🇮🇶✨🇳🇴♥️

A wonderful artistic and cultural journey to Wrocław, a historic Polish city with more than a thousand years of history, renowned for its islands, bridges, and beautiful architecture along the Oder River ✨

Together with my fellow artists participating in the symposium, we explored some of the city’s most prominent museums and landmarks and enjoyed inspiring encounters with contemporary Polish artists ♥️

A journey that brought together art, history, friendship, and the joy of discovery — beautiful moments that will remain in our memories 🎨✨🇵🇱

What made it even more special was meeting the artist Janina Myronova again, just two months after our meeting in Jingdezhen, China. A wonderful artistic reunion, this time in Poland, surrounded by ceramics and nature 🌿
